What is TaB Centre Plus

TaB Centre Plus is the community centre which operates on the premises of Trinity-at-Bowes Methodist church. The centre refurbishment has just been completed and will provide services and facilities that are in shortage in the London boroughs of Enfield, Haringey and Barnet.

Our Vision

We want to see a thriving local community in which individuals are able to develop their personal potential and engage with people of different ages, cultures and interests. We want to see people take responsibility for their lives by engaging in social, political and community activity.

Our Mission

We will provide accessible, high quality facilities, activities and projects, in order to:
•    meet the changing needs of the local community;
•    develop individual and community potential;
•    raise people’s aspirations and improve their ability to achieve them;
•    improve the health and wellbeing of the local community.

Our Aims

To assist the local community in regularly identifying its needs and to respond to those needs in practical ways through the provision of high quality facilities, activities and projects.

To engage with the local community in order to increase social inclusion and develop services to support those who are most in need.

To enable local people to improve their sense of wellbeing through personal development, exercise, gaining skills and building relationships with others.

To run a quality assured Volunteering Programme that supports the running of the centre whilst increasing the skills and experience of individual volunteers.

To increase our long-term sustainability through income diversification, regular policy and practice reviews, and strategic planning involving all our stakeholders.

To work in partnership with others, whenever possible, and to proactively seek partners for projects and activities. In particular, we will continue to work in close partnership with Trinity-at-Bowes Methodist Church.
