PRAYING TOGETHER THIS WEEK
We pray for all who have been affected by the earthquake in
Turkey, remembering the hundreds who have died and those
who have been bereaved and lost their homes.
The Circuit prayers this week are for our church family at
Muswell Hill.

NEWS OF THE FAMILY OF THE CHURCH

died. We pray for all who are bereaved.
We pray for all who are unwell , or are homebound or in residential care,
including Ken Biggs, Pearl Stephenson, Dennis Collins, Janet Greenyer, Gwen
Godier, Mildred Gugula, Sylvia Wilson, Myrtle Hammond, Dorothy Campbell, Pam
Hester, Rhona Knight, Odette Maysh and Marjorie Taylor.
Operation Christmas Child
Once again we are supporting this operation which is run by the organisation
Samaritans Purse International Relief. For the past 20 years, Operation
Christmas Child has been demonstrating God's love in a tangible way to millions
of children all over the world. Please take a leaflet and see how you can help.
The Sunday school children and the Boys' Brigade will be preparing and packing
the boxes.
They will need empty shoeboxes and wrapping paper to cover them as soon as
possible. We also need items to put inside (see leaflets for ideas) and
donations of money to pay for postage. You can also knit a hat or simple glove
puppet (Patterns from Suzy Godfrey).Suzy is co-ordinating the appeal and will be
taking the completed boxes to the local collection point. Final deadline is
Monday November 7th.
